Sodium bicarbonate is an odourless solid white crystalline powder with the formula NaHCO₃. It is commonly used to neutralise unwanted acid solutions or acid spills and also as a cleaning agent.
Uses: acid neutraliser, cleaning preparations, treating wool and silk.
